'Apply Here' by Lindsay Foyle is a simply drawn black-line illustration on a white background, published in New Matilda on the 18th of March 2024.   

In the centre of the image is a sales booth with a waist-high counter. A banner at the top reads, 'Spot a Visa.'  

At the counter, a smiling person quickly moves three cups around, much like in the game where an object is hidden under the cups and punters have to guess where it is.  Under this, text on the front of the booth reads, 'Now you see it, Now you don't.'  

In the bottom right of the image is the artist's signature, 'Lindsay Foyle'.  

The label text for this cartoon reads: In March several Palestinians fleeing Gaza had their Australian visas cancelled while they were en route to Australia. They were initially granted temporary visas, which means the recipient is not allowed to work or have access to education and healthcare benefits in Australia. Some of the visas were reinstated after additional security checks were undertaken.
